A two-part part one podcast? Sure. In an attempt to get all of our favorite songs together for a "hour long, tops" mix, the CMG staff bugged dozens of indie labels (thanks again, annoyed indie labels!) and ended up with over two hours worth of music. Almost all of it good.

So we're having two December podcasts, both "best of the year!" type deals. Our favorite songs from albums that made our top 50 list, albums that didn't, singles, whatever we could beg our way into using. Next week we'll have another eighty or so minutes covering even more of our favorite songs of the year.
