Here's the first of our two 2006 Halfstravaganza podcasts, aimed at collecting some of the best music the CMG staff has heard so far this year -- including a couple of tracks that don't get released for another month (The Pipettes) or more (The Mountain Goats).

Part two of our Halfstravaganza podcasts is coming up on June 22nd with the actual written feature, which will have its own individual mp3 download links (though often not for the same songs) if you don't have the attention span for these podcasts.
